The annual undergraduate prize is $1,000 per university.
The awarded students must be studying an undergraduate degree in statistics. Statistics departments are to choose student(s)based on academic excellence.
The eligible universities are:
- University of Auckland
- Auckland University of Technology
- University of Waikato
- Massey University
- Victoria University of Wellington
- Canterbury University
- University of Otago.
All eligible students should be a New Zealand citizen, or a resident legally able to work in New Zealand at the completion of study, or have an international student visa.
